Tutorial 1(i): head (front)

Drawing the head is not easy as it looks to be. However, you can actually master drawing the head by observing how others had done it( especially pros, at pixiv, deviantart, anywhere, even official artworks). you can try out various other styles if you disliked mine...pls pardon me for my bad english...（ﾉ´д｀）
i got no tablet so i can only use pencil and paper to draw
step1 : just draw an egg-shaped oval with a sharpened bottom (you will fail at first but as you keep trying, you will slowly get the right proportions)

step2 : add in the horizontal line and vertical line, take not that both must intersect at the middle of the oval

step3 : add in the eyes, make sure both iris is at the horizontal line. take note that the iris should also be right in the quarter of horizontal line

step4: add in the eyebrows, nose and mouth( i made some corrections, the oval looked wrong)

note that the mouth, nose and eyebrows are all about the middle vertical line

step5: add in ears ( take note of the position of the ear, the top is same height as iris and bottom same height as nose

step6: add in the hair( note that the the top of hair is a few millimetres above the scalp)

 

step7: erase the guidelines and you're done!

this method works for both gender, just change the eyes , mouth, nose, hair, ears and you can get new characters out.
